Things You Should Never Plug Into a Power Strip

Power strips are designed for use with low-power devices, such as chargers and lamps, rather than high-power appliances. Connecting large appliances like refrigerators, air conditioners, or washing machines to a power strip can lead to overheating and pose fire risks. Additionally, space heaters, which consume considerable power, should be directly connected to a wall outlet to prevent overloading the power strip. Likewise, high-wattage equipment, including power tools and kitchen appliances, should also be plugged into wall outlets instead of power strips to mitigate the risk of overheating and potential fire hazards. It is essential to ensure that devices are connected in accordance with their power requirements.
