The 47th U.S. president’s latest gift to his granddaughter has set social media abuzz, with many weighing in on the unexpected choice.
Donald Trump recently shared details about an extravagant gift he gave his 17-year-old granddaughter, Kai Trump, igniting mixed reactions.
He revealed that he purchased a Tesla Cybertruck for her, a vehicle that currently ranges in price from $81,985 to $101,985, according to Car and Driver.
Trump admitted that he bought the Cybertruck about a year ago, and it has since become a favorite of Kai, who is set to play golf at the University of Miami. In October 2024, she posed with her silver Cybertruck before attending her school’s homecoming dance.
In a video shared by Daily Mail, Trump could be heard speaking about the purchase. “I bought it for a very special young woman, you know, I’m sure you’ve never heard of her, Kai,” he told the media.
“She’s a great golfer and she puts the clubs in the back, and I guess it’s a very safe deal, she loves it,” he continued.
